Repository Policy

Datokarama English Education Journal (deejournal) supports the broad dissemination of scholarly work through open access and responsible self-archiving practices. In alignment with its Copyright & Licensing policy and Open Access Statement, the journal permits authors to deposit and share their work in various repositories without restriction.


Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit and share all versions of their manuscripts in institutional, subject-based, or public repositories. This policy applies without embargo and supports the principles of open scholarly communication.

The following versions may be archived:

Permitted Repositories

Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in:

  • Institutional repositories (university or research institution archives)
  • National or government-supported repositories
  • Subject-specific repositories (e.g., ERIC)
  • Academic networking platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)
  • Personal or departmental websites

Conditions of Archiving

All archived versions must comply with the following conditions:

  1. Proper Attribution
    The original publication in Datokarama English Education Journal (deejournal) must be clearly acknowledged, including citation details and, where available, the DOI link.
  2. Non-Commercial Use
    All reuse and distribution must be for non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
  3. Version Transparency
    Authors should clearly indicate the version of the manuscript being archived (e.g., preprint, accepted manuscript, or published version).
  4. Integrity of the Scholarly Record
    Archived versions should not be altered in a way that misrepresents the published work. Any modifications must be clearly indicated.

No Embargo Policy

Deejournal does not impose any embargo period on self-archiving. Authors may deposit and disseminate their work immediately at any stage of the publication process.

This repository policy reflects the journal’s commitment to the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), promoting unrestricted access, distribution, and reuse of scholarly work to enhance global knowledge exchange.
